“Kaarthika” star of malayamam month is very important day at Kallil Bhagavathi temple. Devotees can sponsor the offerings “Kalabhaabhishekam” and “Kaarthika Oottu” for the day.
Yearly Festival – Thrikkaarthika Maholsavam. The important festivals at Kallil Bhagavathi temple is from”Kaarthika” star of malayamam month Vrishchika till Aaraattu on the 8th day. “Ulsavabali” is on the 6th day, Valiyavilakku on the seventh day. “Idithozhal” is an important ceremony that helds at 12 pm on the day of “Karthika”.
Navaraathri Maholsavam – “Navaraahri” of malayalam month Thulam is celebrated
“Niraputhari” is celebrated on the day of Uthraadam star in the month of Chingam.
“Aayilyam Pooja” is performed on the day of Aayilyam star in Kanni month.
“Kalashavaarshika Maholsavam” is celebrated on the day of Uthraadam star in Medam month
The Karkadakam month (July – August) in the Malayalam Calendar is observed as the Ramayana Masam. The reading of epic Ramayana begins on the first day of the month and it will be completed on the last day of the month. Everyday, there will be Ganapathi Homa and Bhagavathi Seva during these days.
VInaayaka chathurthi – Ganesha Chaturthi, the great Ganesha festival, also known as ‘Vinayak Chaturthi’ or ‘Vinayaka Chavithi’ is celebrated. Appam Moodal is performed on the day.

Pooja Time :- Palliunarthal at 5.30 AM, After that opening the Sanctorum(Sree Kovil), Nirmalya Darsanam, Abhishekam,Malar Nivedyam, Ethruthu Pooja at 7 AM., Ucha Pooja at 10.15 AM. Opening Sanctorum evening at 5 PM‍., Deeparadhana at 6.30 PM, Athazha Pooja at 7.15 PM and after that the temple closes.
